"Leže v kázni boha všemohúcího, dobrého jsa rozumu..." K výpovědní hodnotě kutnohorských kšaftů předbělohorské doby
Předkládaná práce je analýzou kutnohorských testamentů z let 1590-1610. Zabývá se především rozborem a využitím informací, které je kšaft schopen poskytnout pro sledování různých oblastí spjatých se životem měšťana v předbělohorské době - sociální a profesní stratifikace, rodinné struktury, hmotná kultura měšťanských domácností, vnímání smrti atd. Kromě toho tu byla v obecné rovině zpracována testamentární praxe sledovaného období a charakteristika závěti jako úředního dokumentu. Jedna kapitola se speciálně věnuje pouze ženskému aspektu z pohledu autorek závětí i z hlediska role ženy v jednotlivých pořízeních. Na závěr této studie byl u několika vybraných osob demonstrován možný průnik údajů kšaftu s inventářem a vytvořen tak profil daných jedinců.
"Lying down in obedience to God Almighty, being of good sense ... " On the Communicative Value of the Kutná Hora Testaments in the Period before the Battle of the White Mountain
This work is an analysis of testaments from Kutná Hora from 1590 to 1610. It deals with an analyse and an exploitation of information, which is the will able to give for monitoring different interests connected with the life of burgess in the days before the battle of Bílá Hora - social and profession stratification, family structures, material culture of the burgess households, perceiving of the death, etc. There was also studied testamentary experience of this period in general and the characteristic of a testament as an official document. One special chapter covers only aspects of women from the view of authoress of testaments and in term of the role of women in various last wills. In the end of this study there was demonstrated a possible transparency of dates from testament with inventory and there was created the profile of certain subjects.
