His current research areas include the communication of the Czech and Moravian nobility with the centre of political power at the imperial court to Vienna in the second half of the 17th and at the beginning of 18th century and the formation of the image of the Habsburgs in the symbolical communication of the baroque performances.

2010 a recipient of the prestigious Josef Pekař Prize for the best Monography for the Historians under 35 years in the Czech Republik (awared by Sdružení historiků České republiky – Historický klub 1872 and Pekařova společnost Českého ráje)
