Double degree programmes

Double degree programmes are a higher form of contractual cooperation between partner universities.
Upon completion of the prescribed courses of the specialisation at the partner universities, the student is awarded a degree from both universities.
The stay at the foreign university is financed by the Erasmus+ programme.
Double degree programmes present a significant added value of university studies within the European area.
Double degree programmes are an important attribute of the quality of the domestic programmes
Obtaining a double degree provides a significant competitive advantage on the labour market.

Organization of teaching:
Selected students of the Institute of Romance Studies at the University of South Bohemia spend the first academic year at their home university and the following year at the partner University of Salamanca.
Studies in this programme are completed by defence of a graduation thesis, which is elaborated under supervision of teachers from both universities and presented jointly for both programmes.
In each academic year, a maximum of 3 selected students of the Institute of Romance Studies at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice can participate in this programme.
